Painting at the NC Arboretum
Yesterday, my wife and I decided to take a trip to the NC Arboretum to paint and draw (she does botanical drawings). It was a lovely, midweek day and we enjoyed our surroundings. The Arboretum is located just off the Blue Ridge Parkway. It was established in 1986 as a facility of the University of North Carolina. It has many beautiful trails, gardens and an amazing bonsai exhibit and is definitely worth a visit if you are in the area.
